2021 Top 10 employers for CPT students

In my previous blog, we had a look at the Top 10 employers for OPT and STEM OPT students. For those who haven’t seen the previous blog, SEVP released the 2019 Top 200 Employers for CPT Students in December 2020, based on the number of employment authorization requests on SEVIS. Therefore, the top 10 CPT employers list can be referred by international students who would like to find internship opportunities in the United States in 2020 and 2021. Top 10 CPT employers could mean that there are high needs for student interns, and they know the CPT process to hire an international student as an intern.

Top 10 employers for CPT students

As you can see, almost all CPT employers are big, multinational, and tech-focused companies. Therefore, it would be a great resume builder if you could get a chance to intern in one of these companies.

In my previous post that listed Top 10 employers for OPT and STEM OPT students, 2 companies that offered fake employment letters to OPT participants were discussed. In terms of the CPT, there were no reports in regards to fake employment. One of the reasons might be because the CPT program regulates that students should obtain a job offer letter in advance to get CPT authorized.
