Intel intends to fund $50 million in grants in Ohio universities over the next 10 years. These funds will be used to develop multi-institution research and curriculum and student internship programs.

The company expects to produce around 9,000 graduates with semiconductor knowledge and experience and give out more than 2,300 scholarships. It is worth noting that Intel also announced that it would invest more than $20 billion to build chip factories in Ohio back in January 2022. This means that it’s highly likely that international students can find various OPT, STEM OPT and even H-1B opportunities upon graduation.

值得注意的是,英特尔还宣布,将于2022年1月在俄亥俄州投资200亿美元以上的芯片工厂。 这意味着，国际学生很有可能在毕业时找到各种各样的OPT、STEMOPT甚至H-1B机会。
