KeymasterPlease follow the writing format:
1. (If you mailed your OPT/STEM OPT packet out to USCIS) The date that you sent out the OPT application packet to USCIS: 11/15/2020
2. (If you mailed your OPT/STEM OPT packet out to USCIS): Where did you send it to? Chicago Lockbox
3. (If you filed the online OPT/STEM OPT application) The date you submitted the online OPT application: N/A
4. (If your OPT/STEM OPT has been approved) The date you were notified that your OPT/STEM is approved. It can be found in the I-797C:
Rejected on 1/20/2021 and the notice I-797 said “Your G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transaction is invalid due to incomplete information and/or the credit card information you supplied was denied.” The student re-sent the STEM OPT application with correct information on G-1450 by the OPT end date (it was outside of the 60 days window to send out the applications from the STEM OPT recommended date on SEVIS).
Then, the student received a Request for Evidence notice on 5/4/2021 for a transcript. The student sent out the transcript, RFE notice and sent out the address that can be found on the I-797 Notice.
Finally, the STEM OPT was approved on 7/11/2021
