What if I already sent my mail to the previous address?

If you didn’t know about this update and already sent the application package to the previous address, should you re-send the package? It depends on when you sent it out.

According to the broadcasting message by USCIS, the USCIS Vermont Service Center at St. Albans will forward the mails to the new address for about a year for applicants. However, after June 2022, they may return the mail to the sender “by the United States Postal Service or the courier service used.”

Therefore, it is important to check the USCIS webpage to double-check the filing address before you ship it out. For all other important H-1 B-related news and most recent updates, click the H-1B page.
